We contacted Multiple Democratic Senators around the State and US.
No Democratic party had ever heard of a “Dedicated File”. No Democratic Party could answer as to why any Government would keep one on private citizens who had no criminal background or activity. No Democratic Party was made aware FDLE was creating, maintaining and distributing such files that appear to be used to block those who oppose Republican candidates. We later learned, not all Senators are granted information of the FDLE file per whims of the Leaders of the State, and outside of the Legislative Body. Apparently the Democratic Party was not invited to the gathering of private data of citizens and the black balling of them across the US.
The impact of such acts as ACLU stated, has ramifications into our voting, our rights, our futures.
We then documented multiple conservations with Republican Party, particually those in higher places under Charlie Crist, Governor. EVERY person in that capacity knew exactly what a Dedicated File was and treated it as if it was common knowledge.
Then we called around, and asked the general public what they knew about a Dedicated File in the State of Florida. 100% of the common people had no knowledge of Dedicated Files in the State of Florida.
When I contacted FDLE over my own “Dedicated Files” they never hesitated to respond to exactly that description of any files. I did not ask for anything BUT Dedicated files, and was given multiple files sent to FDLE out of the Republican Party Elected Officials, and those in the Republican Party seats and positions.
The contents of the files scream Republican based issues of exposures.
Jeb Bush appears to have begun mine. Republican. Charlie Crist added to it. Republican. His cabinet members added to it on learning I had knowledge of his misuse of funds. Republican Parties. The Director of FDLE, Crist Appointee, Republican Party.
Let me provide the legal definition of “Dedicated Files” in Florida. Later we will see that ACLU had already attempted and warned this program would be abused for political purposes. Charlie Crist, Jeb Bush and his cabinet members proved, ACLU was 100% correct in their suspicions on how Bush would misuse it. —
“Executive Order # 01 – 300, issued on October 11, while containing several appropriate steps toward those goals, contains a provision that the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Florida finds troubling because of its potential for misuse. Section 1(d) of the Executive Order states “”FDLE shall establish a dedicated Statewide Domestic Security Intelligence Database for use by all Florida law enforcement officers under appropriate security” (ACLU 2001) Taking that further, the Legislative Body enacted, a Dedicated file system for the kidnapping of Children in which multiple agencies have access to files on citizens per whim by signing up under the Dedicated Files systems. This is presently used under the CART program, but, can go national. The files are accessable to any approved agency that signs up for it under FDLE. That provides them with access to files kept under dedicated (built up) files. As you will see, no legistlation ever intended the files to be kept for any other purpose than for the purpose of known crimes or convictions.

The ACLU asked that implementation of the plan be postponed until the law enforcement officials can be directed to develop standards that ensure that only information about suspected criminal activity is entered into the database.
“”America has seen the creation of intelligence files on ordinary citizens not for their involvement in suspected criminal activity, but for activities that are lawful and fully protected under both the United States and Florida Constitutions,”" wrote Howard Simon, Executive Director of the ACLU of Florida.
“”When law enforcement databases and intelligence files include information on individuals because of their political beliefs or activities, or their association with dissident causes, core First Amendment values are violated.”"
In the letter, the ACLU also urges the Governor to refrain from creating exemptions to the Public Records Act and to instead seek authorization from the Florida Legislature, as required by the Florida Constitution, which would permit public debate.
“”There is grave danger in governing by executive order,”" said Simon. “”When the legislature is excluded from exercising its proper oversight responsibilities, and there is no opportunity for appropriate public input, democratic principles are jeopardized.”"
